Step 1:
Wash and Dry
Start with a meticulous hand wash to remove all surface-level dirt, grime, and other contaminants.
Step 2:
Decontamination
Remove embedded iron fallout using an iron remover, then follow up with a clay bar.
Step 3:
Paint Correction
Correct any imperfections in the paint such as scratches or swirl marks.
Step 4:
Panel Prep/Inspection
Use a panel prep solution to remove any polishing oils and make sure the surface is clean and free of defects.
Step 5:
Application
Apply the ceramic coating evenly using an applicator working in small sections.
Step 6:
Leveling
Level the coating with a clean microfiber towel, followed by a second towel to remove any excess, and a third towel for the final wipe of the area.
Step 7:
Curing
Allow the coating to cure for the manufacturer’s recommended time, typically 24-48 hours without exposure to water or contaminants.
Step 8:
Final Inspection
Check the surface for missed spots or uneven application and touch up if necessary.
Step 9:
Maintenance
Wash on a biweekly or monthly basis with a pH-neutral car shampoo designed for ceramic-coated vehicles. Do not use a car wash.
